Add Contact Form To Blogger Using Google Forms

Add Contact Form To Blogger Using Google Forms :

Most Blogger users don’t have a proper contact form, like of which we see on WordPress or Tumblr platforms etc. However, there is a way to add this functionality using Google Docs.

1. Login Into Your Google Docs Account

Click on “Create”. A drop down menu will appear.

A new window opens, showing your finished form.

4. Copying the Form Code

Now view the source of your finished form page, press CTRL F  and type in “form action”. The browser will find this bit of text and hightlight it.

The line on which this text is located, is the first line that you need to copy. Don’t do it just yet. Just make sure you remember where this line is.

Now find the line that says – this is the last line that you need to copy.

Now copy the code as described, and paste it in a notepad.

5. Pasting the Code in Blogger

Open up your Blogger Dashboard, go to New Post, title it “Contact Us”, and label it “Contact”. Click “Edit HTML” and paste the code you’ve just copied.

Save the post.

6. Adjust the Form Appearance

There might be too much blank space on your form page, or the form itself might not fit. It is easy to change the appearance of your form, and solve this issue.

To change the width of the answer box, find the line below:

<textarea name=”entry.0.single” rows=”8″ cols=”75″ class=”ss-q-long” id=”entry_0″>

Change the “colors” to a lower value, and it will shrink in width. The lower the value, the smaller the width of the answer box.
Same apply for “rows” this time  you’ll be adjusting the height.

Keep playing with the code of the form to get that in perfect look.
