You can also create a custom redirect for example if I moved a content to another url from this url educhatforums.com/chat-rooms/ to this url educhatforums.com/chat-room/. Now the first url have backlinks and alls users know the first url. In this case you can create a custom redirect so whenever the user visit the old url he will be autumatically redirected to the new url without clicking on something. So how can you make a custom redirect in blogger??? This is very simple blogger have built in function for this purpose. Follow the instructions.
- Go to blogger.com and login to your account.
- Now select the blog for which you want to create a custom redirect.
- Go to settings.
- Click on Search preferences.
- Now in errors and redirection table click on edit in front of custom redirects.

In From bar copy the url from which you want to redirect without the main domain name just with for slash and after for slash (/chat-rooms/). No in To bar did the same thing (/chat-room/). Check the permanent box for permanent redirect and save the redirect and than click on save changes. Now you will see 1 redirect is made.
